Beautiful sunny day in Dallas, Texas 74F
Welcome to my foto blog. I'm making a serious committment to take at least a picture a day for 2008. Each of these pictures are meaningful to me in some way either from the past or present. I'm a novice with photography eventhough I take pictures often for my other blogs. If you have any suggestions to help me with this journey, please leave comments. 1/1/2008

The shot leaves me a bit cold... if that can be said of most months in Dallas... what is it today 85.. 90?
I don't have the where for all to try to go out each day and get a meaningful shot but you might try to go macro instead of wide angle. That way you might generate interest in the smaller things and to me you can find things in the back yard that look great with a shallow depth of field and real close and personal.
I like the photo! It shows the true color differences between the trees and the sky. The clouds are interesting too. :-D
Oh I consider Dallas my home. We moved there when I was 9 and I lived there until I was in my 30's!
We lived close to White Rock lake. Nice to meet you!! And it's a great shot that brought back some wonderful memories for me!!:-)
Shinade: I use to run around White Rock Lake about 15 years ago. When I was running marathons I trained at that lake. I also use to ride my bike around that lake. Unfortunately now it's become quite dangerous.
beautiful photo! I like the angle and it makes me happy for summer!
Hi Ellen, was at Wannabee Mom's place noticed your callsign...somehow your callsign reminds me that TV series, Dallas'...Sue Ellen? Ha ha.
Well taken pics you have...maybe next time you take a pic of your cute dog, try lying on the grass and take the shot, even plants too...
I too love photography, but more on portraits.
You stay easy and have a nice day, Lee.
