White Rock Marathon 1993 - Photo A Day #1

This is a set of 3 photos (different views) of the medal I won after I ran and finished the White Rock Marathon in Dallas, Texas in 1993. This was a pivotal moment in my life in that I set goals and commitments that required an extra ordinary amount of strict discipline from me.

I was a runner/jogger for several years before I committed to the race. I ran 5k, 8k, 10k over a period of time. With the help of several friends who also ran and coached, motivated and inspired me along the way, I was able to finish 26 miles in 5hrs and 48min. Whew!!!
